Find a starting point
Which level fits your learner?
These are starting suggestions. Choose activities around your child’s skills, interests and need for support.
Explore with a grown-up. Start with letters, sounds, counting, simple choices and getting comfortable with the town.
Practice early reading and writing, number skills and everyday routines. Connect a short learning activity to shopping or exploring.
Try longer reading and writing tasks, math challenges, money decisions, science activities and creative projects.
Choose a level in the Middle School Hub. Explore eight starter missions per grade, with worked examples, supported practice and project prompts.
The K–5 core and Grades 6–8 starter pathways have different scope. Learniverse is supplemental practice, not a complete curriculum or a guarantee of grade-level mastery.
A place for grown-ups, too
Stay close to the learning.
The family dashboard helps you organize children’s profiles and review their learning activity.
- Separate child profiles and saved games
- Today’s learning, reading journeys and learning portfolios
- Goals, parent controls and family settings
- Computer skills, middle-school and homeschool portfolio views
- Work to review and discuss together
Activity records show what was recorded in the game. A finished activity or participation badge is a starting point for a conversation, not proof of independent mastery.

Facts & family questions
Good to know before you play.
What is EPNL Learniverse?
It is a browser-based learning game built around a virtual town. Children explore, create and practice school subjects alongside everyday skills such as shopping, budgeting and planning.
Which grade level should we choose?
Start with the child’s current learning level. The core child profiles offer Kindergarten through Grade 5. Older learners can select Grade 6, 7 or 8 inside the Middle School Hub. Those levels are starter pathways, not complete middle-school courses.
Do we need to download an app?
No game installation is required. Open the game in a web browser with an internet connection. A computer gives children more room for writing, building and working with digital tools.
How do parents sign in?
Use the Parent Portal and your EPNL shop account. Follow the email verification steps, then create or enter your family PIN. From the family dashboard, add a child profile and set up the child’s access code.
Can siblings have their own profiles?
Yes. Parents can add separate child profiles so each child has their own game and learning records. Select the correct child before starting an activity.
How do saved progress and parent records work?
Use your signed-in family dashboard and a child profile for family-linked saves and learning records. The dashboard includes Today’s learning, portfolios and goals. Guest play on a device is separate; importing an old game save does not turn that play into verified learning evidence.
Will my child chat with strangers?
The town uses computer-controlled characters rather than an open chat with other players. Parents should still guide children’s use of the browser and review their work.
Are hints and read-aloud available?
Some activities include hints, models and read-aloud support. Voice availability depends on the browser and device. Supported practice is different from independent work; oral reading and open-ended projects still benefit from adult review.
Can we use it for homeschool or after-school practice?
Yes, as a supplemental learning activity. Parents can use the portfolio tools to organize work and discuss progress. The game is not a complete accredited curriculum, and its records do not certify grade completion or compliance with homeschool requirements.
Are printable workbooks included in membership?
The planned EPNL Learniverse All-Access membership includes access to all EPNL printable workbooks at no additional charge during the 3-day trial and active membership. Physical printed books, supplies and live classes are separate. Enrollment is coming soon.
